Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.
Site Manager (Pipelines)
The Site Manager will oversee on-site activities during the construction phase of a large gas pipeline project. Responsible for site management, coordination, and compliance, the Site Manager ensures that construction operations align with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. Educational background Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional/technical competency requirement
You'll be:
- Leading the Construction teams to deliver the contractual responsibilities during the construction phases of the project.
- Responsible for the performance of the site
- Implementing and enforcing the HSE plan.
- To actively promote HSE excellence and the HSE vision and so create a strong HSE culture. To set expectations and hold all site staff accountable for delivery of HSE deliverables and meeting agreed performance metrics.
- Ensuring Site Safety systems are set up, communicated, and complied with.
- Participating in Project Risk Management Processes including in management reviews of assurance findings.
- To consulting on and resolving HSE issues including, leading incident investigations, etc.
- To ensure Supervision implement the HAZID requirements for work activities.
- Assisting in developing the Construction and Commissioning elements of the schedule.
- Manage Contractors in their work delivery programs.
- Managing interfaces on site including between contractors, and between Construction Commissioning and Operations
You'll have:
- Experience in construction work within the energy sector.
- Experience with international codes and standards.
- Ideally knowledge of Danish HSE regulations.
- Experience in leading quality inspections of relevant disciplines.
- Experience with international projects, suppliers, and partners as an employer and/or project owner. Personal competency requirement.
