Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.
Field Engineering Manager
The Field Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the onsite engineering and construction activities of the project. This role involves managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Will work closely with project/site management, engineering, and site management to deliver the project on time and within budget.
You'll be:
- Monitoring and coordinating engineering design.
- Monitoring execution of projects and ensure full compliance with approved coordination procedures.
- Preparing and administration of design budgets, estimates, forecasts and schedules.
- Development of a cohesive and functional team
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
You'll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in Engineering management within the energy sector, oil, gas, or pipeline projects.
- Management experience of multi-discipline field engineering team in a construction environment with multiple contractors, endeavoring to promote harmony and provide fast response to contractor queries.
- Perform as the liaison to the home office engineering team to provide contractor clarification such that the engineer’s design does not become an impediment to construction progress.
