Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCm is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.
Lead Mechanical and Piping Commissioning Engineer
The Mechanical and Piping lead is responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of all Mechanical / piping Pre-commissioning activities. The incumbent will execute the Mechanical commissioning plan to the overall procedure and instruct Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Teams and or Subcontractors for the necessary action, while maintaining the highest vigilance for Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE).
You'll be:
Implementing the Project safety management systems during the planning and execution of Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Startup project phases, adapting them to the specific needs and any unique risks
Responsible for HSE performance for all personnel and facilities under their control during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning
Participate in the development and implementation of detailed execution plan for non-energized, energized testing activities, including schedule and budget fully integrated with the project schedule and budget including:
o System and Sub-system scoping
o Pre-commissioning procedures
o Commissioning procedures
o System testing procedures
o FAT & SAT coordination
o Commissioning Raw materials, intermediates and spares list
o Redline AFC drawings
o Facilitate test equipment calibration and certification verification
o Risk Management (system specific) and mitigations
You'll have:
· A degree/diploma in Engineering.
· knowledge, skills and ability to manage a diverse group of Mechanical personnel
· A Mechanical specific background in Power generation and Oil & Gas experience with a detailed knowledge of Commissioning and Leading teams.
