Senior Structural Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering (a master’s degree is preferred)
- 15 years of design experience in industrial structures
- Registered or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
- Design experience in steel and concrete structures including trusses, bridges and supports
- Experience with design and inspection of industrial equipment including conveyors, transfer towers, shiploaders is an advantage
- Experience with seismic design, structural analysis software, and Microsoft Office is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
