Senior Structural Engineer
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in oil and gas, mining and metals, or related projects.
- Good understanding of ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360 and IBC.
- Working knowledge of PIP standards.
- Familiarity with Staad, LPile, MathCAD, MS Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Navisworks 3D. AutoCAD 3D knowledge preferred but not required.
- Availability for occasional travel to job sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including engineering related vocabulary. Technical report writing skills to effectively communicate analysis and evaluation findings and recommendations.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree Civil/Structural Engineering with structural emphasis required.
- PE license(s) in at least one state required, with ability to obtain additional state licenses.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
- SE license in at least one state preferred.
