Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Specific Accountabilities
- Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied
- Overall supervision of instrument engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project and the development of project electrical deliverables
- Prepare instrument cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects.
- Identify and review new technologies development which may provide more efficient and cost-effective solutions
- Manage design change within project budget and schedule framework
- Prepare instrument progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis
- Manage project discipline resource requirements
- Development of project cost estimates
- Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables
- Participation in Site survey and data collection for instrument design
- Participation in design reviews, value engineering workshops
- Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team
- Ensuring technical integrity of the instrument deliverables for the project. Ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.
- Specifications and data sheets for instrument equipment
- Factory inspection and testing of instrument equipment
Qualifications:
- Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university
- Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore projects
- Experience leading an engineering team the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Has led Mega-Scale projects and recent projects with ADNOC or other GCC companies.
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
- Good Communication skills, supervision, leadership
- Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
