Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides necessary input, support and guidance to the Worley Project Manager and team.
- Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
- Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Reviews and comments on the design documentation and oversees installations, testing and commissioning of systems structures and components (SSC) for HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration) systems.
- Reviews and/or conducts feasibility studies for the construction of facilities, such as HVACR systems.
- Reviews and/or performs calculation reports (heating and cooling loads, aerodynamic and hydrodynamic losses, expansion tanks and etc.).
- Reviews and/or performs design of duct network and piping network for HVACR.
- Reviews and/or performs design of district heating and chilling distribution systems.
- Reviews and/or performs design and/or selects equipment for use in HVACR systems to ensure compliance with government and international standards in accordance with the EPC contract.
- Provides Design and Safety analysis according to international and local regulation and standards.
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments.
- Reviews as-built design drawings and modification of HVACR systems.
- Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to HVACR systems and processes.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by the Project Management.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree beneficial) in HVACR Engineering or equivalent.
- Nuclear power industry related experience is required.
- 8+ years of experience in HVACR engineering on large scale projects or in nuclear power plant development.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential with the ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
- Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to coaching and mentoring external personnel is a plus.
- Understanding Russian or Arabic is beneficial.
