What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Portland team.
The role responsibilities include:
- Set clear project objectives (scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets) and ensure alignment across the team.
- Ensure HSE requirements are integrated into design and procurement processes, maintaining focus on safety and compliance.
- Track cost and schedule, forecasting trends and using analytical skills to manage project performance.
- Apply knowledge of engineering project delivery to oversee successful technical coordination and project execution.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with the project team, customers, and external vendors.
- Ensure proper change control processes are understood and followed by the team to manage scope changes.
- Identify technical risks and develops mitigation, contingency, and resolution plans to address potential issues.
- Establish good working relationships with both the customer’s technical counterpart and external stakeholders.
What you’ll have
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Based in, or willingness to relocate to Portland, VIC.
- Able to make independent decisions involving multiple, less complex functions based on established guidelines, taking into account the cost and schedule impact to the project.
- Demonstrated engineering experience, including relevant years technical, supervisory and/or management experience, developing project management experience, E, EP project experience.
- Can organise information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
