Project Controls Manager
The Project Controls Manager will provide leadership, guidance and support to the project controls team to ensure meeting Client objectives for Project Controls requirement in the Contract. They will be responsible for the timely implementation of project procedures in accordance with relevant company procedures, systems and practices.
You'll Do:
- Development and management of the Project Controls Plan
- Ensure set up and Implementation of suitable systems, processes, tools and project control procedures.
- Management of Client and internal project reports in accordance with the project procedure and Project Control department practice. Including progress reporting, schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and review of the hours integrated time schedule.
- Support the development of the project cost control set up and management and review of cost engineering activities, cost reporting process and implementation, ensuring compliance with all contractual and Worley requirements.
- Establishment of the project work breakdown structure (WBS) and commodity codes.
- Manage and review project scheduling and progress reporting.
- Interface with cost estimating.
- Ensure the maintenance of both time and cost trend statistics.
- Support setting up and management of change management process and review procedure.
- Review and comment project control procedures to ensure compliance with all contractual and Worley requirements.
- Define primary job objectives clearly at project and departmental management levels by highlighting schedule and cost requirements.
- Organize and direct the activities of the PROJECT control team, whilst continually reviewing, auditing and improving project controls activities.
You'll have/Bring:
- minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering preferably with training in financial
management techniques (or equivalent). - Several years of experience at professional level in engineering & contracting or in a similar
industry in a supervisory capacity, resp. as a Principal or Senior Cost or Planning engineer
on major/large projects - Previous experience with financial management and estimating
- Previous EPC experience (execute experience is ideal)
- Proven ability to co-ordinate work.
