You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.
- Shall be fully conversant with API, ASME and such codes of various rotating equipment and packages.
- Shall be proficient to carry out vendor discussions independently and communicate with Vendors
independently. Shall be able to co-ordinate and liaise with Client / PMC and take part in discussions
with Client / PMC. - Should have lead at least 1 medium sized project (of more than 3000 work hours) as lead engineer
from start to finish (or at least for 80% of it). - Should be well conversant in reading and interpreting P&ID, process descriptions etc.
- Should have participated in reviews such as Model review, Hazop review etc.
- Should be a good team player and should exhibit good leadership traits.
- He should have good technical & commercial acumen and knowledge about latest trends / products
available in Market.
- Degree in Mechanical engineering (B.E. or B. Tech)
- 10-16 years + plus design experience in detail engineering consultancy is preferred. However, similar working experience in design side of OEM or mechanical / technical services department of a Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertiliser / Chemical plant may also be considered. However, last 5 to 8 years’ experience must be in detail engineering consultancy.
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
