Primary Roles & Responsibility:
- Stress Engineer should be able to perform piping stress analysis using Caesar II is must, experience using Autopipe/Rohr II software will be add-on advantage.
- Perform analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating and occasional cases (viz wind, seismic, relief, hammer etc.) as per Design basis.
- Perform pipe stress analysis for different equipment i.e., Steam turbine, Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, Air coolers etc.
- Ability to perform associated calculations of piping system i.e., Slug force, PSV force, trunnion checks and flange leakage check.
- Well versed with preparation of stress critical line list, nozzle loads transmittals and vessel cleats, loading for pipe rack/ structures as an input to CSA.
- Ability to review the model in 3D for possible/optimal routing changes, supporting for critical/non-critical lines etc.
- Should have good communication skills
