Contracts Manager - WAS

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:
-
Manage all contracts and subcontracts related to the project (EPC, subcontractors, vendors, consultants).

Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

Commercial Management:
-
Monitor and control project costs and budgets in collaboration with the commercial and finance teams.

Conduct valuations, variations, and change management procedures.
-
Support cost forecasting and cash flow projections.

Claims & Disputes:
-
Identify, prepare, and manage claims including extensions of time (EoT), variations, and disputes.

Coordinate with legal counsel as required and participate in negotiation and resolution processes.

Risk Management:

Identify contractual risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

Monitor contractual obligations and ensure timely notifications and compliance with key milestones and deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met.

Represent Worley in meetings related to commercial and contractual matters.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in contracts management within large-scale oil and gas or energy construction projects.

Strong knowledge of standard contract forms and EPC contract structures.

Proven ability in handling claims, variations, and contractual disputes.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
-
Willingness to work in a remote/site-based location under rotation if required.
