Purpose:

The Advisor – Nuclear Organisation Management and Administration will support the Customer in establishing a fully functional and effective operating organisation and support the development of the administrative structures and processes for facilitating this objective. This includes all aspects of safety, radiation protection, operations, maintenance, engineering, human resources, administration and governance. The advisor will play a key role in supporting the Customer to implement all the required processes and provide all necessary resources to operate the nuclear power plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification of all tasks that the Operating Organisation will need to perform during operation and specifying all capabilities that the staff will require.

  • Assist in the identification and development of all operational management and administrative processes required for ensuring effective operation and management of the plant.

  • Advise and assist the Owner in the configuring and establishment of a suitable organisational structure that will ensure effective management of the plant during operation.

  • Assist in the identification, specification and provision of all equipment and other technical resources that will be required for plant operation.

  • Assist in the identification of all the required human resources and support the processes for selecting and training of these resources to ensure the required skills are provided for operating the plant.

  • Support the development and updating of an Operational Readiness plan that lists all activities that must be implemented for the Owner to be ready for operations at different stages of the project.

  • Interface with the Worley team of experts to coordinate the distribution of work and consolidate information and input from all members.

  • Advise the Customer regarding standard industry practices and norms and assist the Customer with the implementation of the processes that provide these.

  • Maintain the configuration and version controls of all the information being developed by the Worley team.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, working at a nuclear power plant, in a role related to the administration and coordination of activities at an Nuclear Power Plant.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing processes for facilities in the nuclear industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IAEA GSR Part 2, SSR-2/1 and other relevant safety and quality management standards.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Nuclear Engineering, or equivalent.
  • MBA or post-graduate management qualifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting newly established nuclear entities is highly desirable.
