WTG Foundation Senior Structural Engineer
You'll have:
- A degree (and chartered status, if applicable) in structural engineering (or equivalent)
- Extensive knowledge of fixed foundation offshore wind structural design in one or more of the foundation types such as Monopile, jacket, GBS
- Hands-on experience in design of primary (and secondary) structures for offshore wind foundations
- Experience in mapping ILA loads onto fixed foundation structures and conducting structural design/analysis in the time domain
- Knowledge of existing digital platforms (think Sesam, USFOS, Abaqus, SACS, OpenFAST, Ansys etc…)
- Knowledge of turbine load analysis via BLADED, Flex5, Open FAST, and any other aerodynamic tools are not necessary yet favorable
- Experiences in conducting design and analysis including hand calculations
- An understanding of related subjects such as geotechnical / metocean for offshore fixed foundation wind design
