Vice President, Project Management (Power)
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in project management, engineering, or technical leadership within the energy or power sectors.
- Strong track record in managing large and mega-scale power projects, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) delivery models.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading complex commercial engagements, including joint ventures and subcontractor management.
- Experience with power plant development, including Pre-FEED and FEED scopes, construction, commissioning, and operations for large-scale energy projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, permitting requirements, and industry standards relevant to power project execution.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMI, APM, IPMA, AIPM) is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools, financial analysis, and reporting systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing diverse groups and fostering strong partnerships.
