The Role
As a Telecommunications Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Developing technical and practical Telecom system design and drafting skills in the same or similar industry.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Developing skills in design software.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Preparation of Filed Equipment Layout Drawings.
- Preparation of Building Equipment Layout Drawings.
- Preparation of Cable /Duct Routing Layout Drawings.
- Preparation of Equipment Rack Layout Drawings.
- Preparation of JB grouping and Wiring / Termination Drawings.
- 3-D modelling and extraction of drawings from model.
- Inter department co-ordination if required.
- Maintenance of design file and relevant data etc.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Qualification & Skills and Capabilities:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience (AutoCad, 3D modelling) in Telecom design onshore /offshore projects.
- A recognized ITI / Diploma in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
