Worley are looking to engage a highly motivated individual to join the Site Team based on a Project within the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Supervision and provide the PM’s / Site Managers with the required support to deliver a successful project. This can involve direct site/project support as the business needs dictate.
- Provide daily updates to the project plan, reporting into the Project Manager & Client
- Scope work packs, ensuring correct tools and equipment are available ahead of setting operatives to work.
- The maintaining of close contact with respective Clients throughout the project or activity to ensure satisfactory reaction to client’s needs or criticisms.
- The monitoring and control of project performance against schedule, and quality and safety requirements.
- The identification of changes in the scope of work and ensuring that appropriate change requests are current and adequate.
- Responsible for permit accepting and setting operatives to work
- The promotion of safety and quality on the site or project in consultation with safety and quality representatives. The issuing of directions for Job close-out and the securing of the final project acceptance.
- Commitment to and promotion of Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
- An HND/HNC or equivalent is preferable but not essential.
- Leading teams through intervention/TARs.
- Experience in mechanical engineering discipline.
- Experience in coordinating and interfacing with construction team and third parties.
- Experience in coordinating and controlling team delivery in accordance with agreed schedule and change without compromising HSSEQ standards.
- Experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with client and third parties.
- Propose and execute remedial actions for all identified problem areas associated with schedule slippage.
- The candidate needs to be disciplined and organised, with a process orientated approach.
