Sr. IT / OT / Telecom Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in IT/Electronics Engineering (or Equivalent) required;
· Must be fluent in English language (Written & Spoken).
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
· Relevant experience of years of discipline in specific experience with also relevant years of experience on major Oil & Gas projects. Relevant years of similar Role in EPC/PMC organization.
· GCC Projects experience, UAE Projects experience is preferred
· Site based experience, brown field work is a plus,
· Through knowledge of industry governing codes & standards,
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks.
System/skills and experience with some of the below:
· Microsoft Server and Active Directory – basic design and deployment
· Typical IT environment services and systems e.g., DHCP, Printing, Email, DHCP, Backup, SAN, VDI etc.
· Typical IT environment Hardware and Software e.g., DELL Servers, Microsoft OS (not limited to)
· VMWare/Nutanix software, appliances – design and deployment
· Data centre design experience
· Network Switches (LAN) and Routers (WAN)
· Network Admission Control and Network Management
· Firewalls and Security equipment (inc. software-based firewalls)
· VoIP Telephony
· Wireless networking (802.11)
· Access Control Systems
Highly Desirable Skills/Experience:
Any Operational Technology skills and experience with systems and software/application development in relation to any the following:
· Laboratory Information Management Systems (Sample manager)
· Batch Tracking Systems (Aspentech APRM)
· Online Polymer Analysis (Aspentech)
· Sigmafine Mass Balance Modelling
· Gate Automation Systems
· Site Logistics systems (WinCC preferred)
· Experience with RTIMS/PI highly regarded
Professional Certifications
· Chartered status is preferable
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
· Fully conversant with relevant international standards and GOOD PRACTICES.
· Fully conversant with the relevant engineering software.
· Fully conversant with principles of “safety in design”
· Good understanding of construction techniques and constructability issues
· Experience with specific discipline construction support activities (Site query resolution, punch listing,,etc)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

WorK Condition
Physical Effort
· SITE OFFICE:
ü Mostly office work during which the job holder is operating computer for most of the time
ü Frequent meetings & team collaboration efforts is expected,
ü Regular tours in Construction site are expected,
ü Work schedule is 6 days X 10 hours “Min. 60 working hours/week”,
Work Environment
· SITE OFFICE:
ü Work within the PROJECT Site office in Ruwais in an air-conditioned office (Temporary site offices)
ü Frequently, exposed to the prevailing site weather and hazards in Construction Site/existing plant in Ruwais when attending the site.
ü As required, undertakes business trips to Borouge’s Offices in Abu Dhabi.
