As Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible to provide discipline specific engineering services to Worley and its clients, and technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines.

To succeed in this role, you should have minimum 10 years’ experience in civil or environmental engineering and have prior experience in mining industry and/or resources industry.

What you’ll do

We are looking for Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include:

·        Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework.

·        Ensure they understand and apply the Worley quality management system.

·        Ensure construction work conforms to applicable specifications, codes, and standards.

·        Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects.

·        Ensure project scope, budgets and schedules for construction are effectively communicated and met on projects.

·        Mentoring and supervision of construction supervisors.

·        Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes.

·        Assist with and if required prepare project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules

·        Conduct or contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions

·        If required, prepare and/or oversee the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports

·        Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures

·        Aid and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

What you’ll have

·        Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management

·        Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.

·        High level of customer focus

·        Excellent leadership and communication skills

·        Understand and apply the Quality Management System

·        Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil or environmental engineering

·        Prior experience in mining industry and/or resources industry is advantageous

·        Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering

·        Have the experience and skills to set the standard and drive the rest of the team to excel in HSE

·        Competent in relevant Microsoft Office software

·        Excellent communication skills.

·        Work as part of a multi-discipline team.

·        Broad understanding of the mining and construction scene in Indonesia
