Senior Technical Consultant, Water Scientist
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in environmental/engineering/water resources consulting.
- Experience in the design and execution of drilling projects (mud rotary, sonic, auger, direct push), including planning, coordination, logging, and well design.
- Experience in the field executing well sampling programs utilizing widely accepted and alternative sampling methods (i.e. no-purge, low flow, and dissolved gas sampling).
- Experience working in rugged, physically demanding field environments.
- Demonstrated experience in aquifer testing programs, including planning and execution of single well response and pumping tests.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering with quality, and under pressure.
- Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
- Demonstrated focus on continual improvement, including identification of areas for improvement and implementation of actions.
- Practical knowledge of working outdoors and mechanical aptitude are considered assets.
- Experience with project management and customer liaison would be considered an asset.
- Candidates must process a valid Class 5 full driver’s license with a clean driving record.
