Senior Structural Engineer

Job Specific Knowledge:

·       Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.

·       Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of offshore engineering practices applicable to and Structural design engineering for oil and gas facilities.

·       Ensure recognised offshore engineering practices applicable to Structural design are adopted.

·       Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills in the Structural discipline, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.

·       Specialized expertise of the fundamental requirements of the Structural discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.

·       Specialized expertise of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.

·       Specialized experience in developing calculations for in-service, preservice for topside, jacket, bridges, misc. cathodic protection etc.

·       Specialized knowledge on reassessment of existing structures/Brownfield works.

·       Familiar with Industrial/International Codes and Standards EU/BS, AISC, API, ISO.

Industry specific experience:

·       Decent years of experience, 8 of which have been in conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design of Offshore structures.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

·       Full-time bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

·       Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
