To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly yet critically, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and good business acumen. Strong knowledge of and experience with common strategy methodologies and analyses.
- Capable of executing a wide range of data, modelling and analytical concepts and methodologies, including:
- Market sizing.
- Competitive analysis.
- Cost curve development.
- Profit pool analysis.
- Supply and demand analysis.
- Financial modeling and valuation.
- Portfolio review (e.g. where to invest, where to divest).
- Forecasting / econometrics.
- Impact of tax and economic incentives on business activities.
- Customer needs analysis / primary research.
- Able to synthesize large amounts of information from diverse sources to identify trends and issues, recommend solutions proactively, and
apply problem-solving and analytical expertise. - Comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently, balancing priorities.
- Experience with industry research tools such as Rystad, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, etc.
- High emotional intelligence with strong verbal and written communication skills, including storylining and laying out high quality
collateral. - Good understanding of the Worley’s customers, market subsectors and competitors.
- Live and breathe Worley values and leadership principles.
- Ability to work within environment of change and defining direction within that context. Adept at navigating ambiguity to facilitate outcomes.
- Resourceful at finding data and information to feed analyses.
- Comfortable communicating with, and presenting to, personnel at all levels from front-line personnel to senior leaders.
Qualifications and experience (Must-haves):
- 2-4 years experience in strategy consulting professional services firm.
- 2+ years working experience in Energy, Chemicals and/or Resources sectors.
- University/Bachelor’s degree in a related subject – e.g. Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics etc.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel (including financial modelling), PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with presenting to groups, including senior leaders, with confidence and poise.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility is needed to connect and work with others across multiple time zones and cultures, given we are a distributed global business.
- Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
- Minimal travel may be required.
