Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors in engineering, environmental science, environmental planning, or equivalent; Advanced degree(s) preferred in a relevant subject area
- 8+ years of professional experience, preferably with an environmental consulting organization, an operator, contractor or regulator
- Stakeholder engagement and social research experience in consulting, industry, government or NGO settings
- Ability to cultivate, manage and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills including facilitation, presentation and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to provide high level strategic analysis, advice and recommendations on opportunities and challenges relating to social consulting
- Working knowledge of Indigenous engagement practices.
