Our Safety & Risk and Asset Integrity team specializes in delivering world-class safety, risk, and asset integrity solutions for major hazard facilities. With unparalleled expertise spanning design, construction, operation, and late-life management, we bring a unique perspective shaped by hands-on experience in operational environments. We tackle complex challenges to ensure safety and reliability across the asset lifecycle, working on high-impact projects that shape New Zealand’s infrastructure.

What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Senior Safety Engineer to join our Safety & Risk and Asset Integrity team.
The role responsibilities include:
Lead safety and risk assessments for major hazard facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Develop and implement asset integrity management strategies across the asset lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership in the design, construction, and operational phases of projects.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions.
What you’ll have
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related discipline); advanced qualifications are a plus.
Relevant experience in safety, risk, or asset integrity engineering, ideally with major hazard facilities.
Proven expertise in operational environments and lifecycle management of complex assets.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
