Purpose:
As Senior QA Equipment Inspector you will be responsible for for reviewing quality plans and manufacturing processes and inspecting mechanical equipment (including related records and documentation) for a nuclear project, providing direct interface with the Customer and assisting in the training of the Customer’s personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Worley Quality Manager and the Project management team.
- Implements Worley Project procedures and processes.
- Reviews and comments on quality plans, processes and procedures for Equipment manufacturing.
- Participates in site incoming inspections together with Customer’s representatives and verifies the Equipment accompanying documentation.
- Supports Customer's Quality Organization in performing Quality inspections (general and targeted) of Project Contractors and Subcontractors.
- Coordinates effectively with Project personnel.
- Completes reports of work performed accurately and on time.
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments as required.
- Reviews and reports on process compliance.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Strong technical skills.
- 8+ years of experience in quality control, including participation in Equipment inspections for new nuclear construction projects.
- Qualification as an NDT inspector is a plus.
- Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.
- Excellent report writing skills.

- Ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
- Sound engineering background.
- Prudent use of confidential information.
- Organized and disciplined, able to effectively plan and schedule tasks and events in changing and uncertain circumstances.
- Ability to work and interact with multi-cultural teams.
