Senior Project Engineering Manager-Mining, Minerals, & Metals

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

• Well-rounded technical knowledge in all disciplines with a good understanding in the engineering sequencing of workflow as applicable to EPCM projects with a focus managing design activities from multiple offices and contractors.
• Preference will be for candidates with experience of leading designs for multi-billion-dollar mining projects.  
• A good understanding on the equipment applicable to mining, mineral processing, and smelting/refining.
• Working with the disciplines help make technical decisions, remove roadblocks and progress.
• Be an advocate of the principles of safety to deliver a safe and sustainable design.
• Familiar with the engineering and design process and project delivery for EPC or EPCM projects. This includes front end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering and construction.
• Experience in delivering Lump sum and cost reimbursable projects.
• Applying principles of safety in design and engineering established by codes or industrial practice.
• Work with the customer closely in the engineering requirements of the project and help steer the project for a full alignment with the customer needs.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Senior level (10+ years) of relevant experience within an EPC/EPCM consulting engineering environment working on mining projects. 

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
