What you will bring
Role Requirements.
- A Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or B.Sc
- Senior level of experience in the engineering of smelting and refining projects with an emphasis on base metals is required
- Ideally will have plant operating or plant support experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada or eligibility
- Outstanding ability to understand clients’ needs, identify opportunities and convert them into successful projects
- Proven ability to perform due diligence, peer review and trade-off studies
- Strong knowledge in smelting and refining for base metals including copper, nickel, zinc and lead
- Proven ability to lead teams
- Experience in using process simulation programs such as Metsim
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
