Senior Process Engineer

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the mining, minerals, and metals industry, with a focus on beneficiation, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, alumina, and new energy minerals.
• Proven track record in process engineering, project execution, and optimization in mineral processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of process control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• In-depth understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations in mineral processing operations.
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., SysCAD) and process design tools (e.g., AFT Fathom/Arrow, Fluid flow etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in diverse environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with new energy minerals, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and rare earth elements.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and green technologies in the mining industry.
• Professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering societies (e.g., IChemE, SME).
