Senior Piping Engineer (Streess Analysis)

🎓 Education and Ratings:

• Mechanical Engineering or related career
• English: (Desirable)

Experience in multidisciplinary projects:

• With at least 10 years of experience doing flexibility analysis.

Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, EJMA, API, ASTM codes
• Knowledge of the technology of materials used in industrial plants, metals, alloys, plastics.
• Calculation of wall thicknesses in pipes by internal and external pressure.
• Elaboration of the Head-Branch felling in the different types of material used in the projects.
• Preparation of calculation reports in piping systems, for cases of load by load, sustained, thermal, occasional, transient, fatigue, interpretation of results.
• Knowledge and application of operating procedures (SOPs) 101 to 113, 201 to 204, 206, 207, 211, 213 and 214.
• Review of loads on dynamic equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines and static equipment such as solar, atmospheric and pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.
• Preparation of the load report for the civil department in the pipe racks, main structures and secondary supports.
• Selection of standard substrates as well as special supports.
• Selection and specification of special accessories such as variable and constant spring brackets, snubbers, expansion joints, dresser couplings, hoses.
• Design of piping systems with expansion joints according to the recommendations of the EJMA.
• Calculation memory for seismic loads, wind, and discharge of relief valves.

• Office (Intermediate – Advanced)
• Caesar II 2019.
• Navisworks Simulation Management (80%)
