The Role
As a Piping Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.
- Prepare and review project documentation including P&IDs, piping plans, and material specifications.
- Oversee piping installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct or oversee pressure testing, leak testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
- Coordinating with Engineering team including raising of technical queries associated with site design/ operational changes.
- Support to both operations and commissioning for full function testing.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- A good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Competent use of mechanical engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Engineering experience in the same or similar industry, and developing leadership skills.
- A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
- 5 - 12 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
