Senior Piping Engineer

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

• Minimum of 8 Years of relevant industry experience in the same or similar industry.
• Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customer.
• A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
•  A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications
  • ABSA requirements for design and registration of piping systems.
  • Knowledge of ASME / ASTM codes and standard related to piping engineering.
  • Knowledge of CSA pipeline requirements is an asset.
• Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as the MS Office Suite of tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
• Experience as a discipline lead on small to medium sized projects is an asset.
• Small project experience is an asset.
• EPC experience is an asset.
• Stress analysis experience is an asset.

 Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status in Alberta with APEGA.
• Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident Status
