Responsibilities
- Proficient in the use of 3D packages; PDMS, SPR or PDS.
- Has previous experience with BP engineering specifications.
- Has green and brown field experience with oil refinery and gas processing with minimal supervision.
- Interpret pipe stress ISOs and suggest alternative support arrangements to pipe stress engineer.
- Has experience in a multi-cultural work share environments.
- Past experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design piping projects.
- Field piping experience and the practicalities of working in live refineries and gas plants.
- Has experience in conducting field investigation trips to live operating oil refinery and gas plants.
- Experience in carrying out 3D design reviews with the client and multi discipline design teams.
- Has experience with interpreting laser scan data and utilising to tie-in new piping and equipment.
- Extraction, production and checking of engineering isomeric drawings.
- Experience in checking isomeric drawings and ensuring pipe stress requirement are incorporated.
- Experience in discipline specific databases and efficient use of word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Has 3D modelling experience with modelling dummy steel at conceptual stage without Structural input.
- Has experience with laying out plant equipment and incorporating minimum plant spacing requirements.
- Experience in quality control of 3D design models and the importance of dimensional accuracy.
- Experience in piping and vessel fabrication to ensure there are minimal manufacturing implications.
Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (Essential)
Awarded a 2 or 3 year technical diploma with discipline specific training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Trained in leadership and project execution. Will be actively licensed with a local governing body where required by law.
Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (Desirable)
Training in risk management or quality.

Typically has 5+ years of relevant discipline experience. Has a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.

Experience working in project leadership. Specialized expertise in one or more areas of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.
Systems & Tools (Essential)
Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Can navigate intranet pages, conduct searches, and retrieve information. Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies. Will be fully proficient in specialty design tools, analytics and modelling, and cross-discipline data centric methods.
Systems & Tools (Desirable)
Competent in Microsoft Access and Visio. Able to touch type.
