Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Licensed professional engineer registered with APEGA.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience with mechanical building systems and designing building services within the industrial building sector (HVAC and plumbing).
- Minimum of 10 years of Canadian experience.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience with Alberta Building Codes, Fire Codes, Plumbing Codes, and other applicable building codes and standards.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, ACGIH, and other related standards for industrial HVAC.
- Experience in oil and gas projects.
- Experience in using Carrier HAP or similar software for load calculations.
- Demonstrated experience or track record of managing multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment while being able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve technical problems during the full project lifecycle.
- Proficient with computers and standard office software applications.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Attention to detail in report writing and producing deliverables with quality at the forefront.
- Energetic personality, team player, committed to excellence.
- Ability to travel to client sites across Canada (valid Canadian driver’s license with clean driving record).

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
