Responsibilities
Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
Supports document checking and design verification tasks for compliance to company and project specifications.
Technical supervision of project designated mechanical designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duty.
Prepare of specifications, data sheets and other information covering Rotating equipment and system packages.
Performance of bid evaluation and vendor document review and approval
Technical writing activities, in particular, production of technical reports and operating manuals.
Manage studies and mechanical-rotating-orientated projects as assigned.
Preparation of technical requisition, stipulation of inspection and testing requirement and documentation
Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
Supports Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities and takes action where required.
Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
Prepare and participate in weekly mechanical discipline meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.
Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with the Lead Engineer.
Management, technical execution and completion of engineering assigned tasks in the specific mechanical-rotating discipline area Provide rotating equipment engineering input to conceptual studies, front end engineering and detailed engineering design for petrochemical, refineries and oil & gas facilities including the associated utilities.
Quality Assurance: Accountable for working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance systems.
Safety: Accountable for personal safety safe, safe working practices. Working knowledge and follow OH & S procedures promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.

- Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
Industry Experience
Candidate shall have vast experience in Oil & Gas sector in GCC
Candidate must have experience in Detailed Design, FEED in Mechanical Engineering
Candidate shall have Mechanical engineering knowledge and familiar with Standards/Codes, QP specs.
Past experience as a Rotating Engineer for Upstream & Midstream Gas Turbines will be an advantage
Must have good experience with compressors & Pumps
