Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required

Job Specific Knowledge:       

  • Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment
  • Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of practices applicable to engineering design for utilities & infrastructure industry projects.
  • Specialized expertise of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of discipline design/engineering with wide experience in multi-discipline areas.
  • Well versed in Plumbing calculations & Fire Fighting calculations
  • Excellent working skill in AUTOCAD application and experience in preparation of shop drawings of Plumbing, Drainage and Fire-fighting services.
  • Prepare Drainage and Water Supply Calculation (Pipe, Pump and Tank Sizing).

Proficient in specialty engineering, analytics and modelling, and cross-discipline data centric methods.

Industry Specific Experience:

  • Experience in the infrastructure industry with in the Qatar MEP industry
  • Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:    
  • Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage

IT Skills:

  • Elite or Pipenet Software

  • Should be able to work largely independently with minimal supervision from Lead
