You'll have:

Technical and Industry Experience:

  • Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its Customers'.
  • Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields such as piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil.
  • Excellent knowledge of heat transfer equipment, pressure vessels, columns, storage tanks, etc..
  • Familiar with rotating equipment and package units (experience in solids and/or material handling is a plus).
  • Knowledge of European Directives such as PED, among others.
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and mechanical engineering specific software.
  • Experience in petrochemical, fine chemicals.
  • Experience in quality control requirements, equipment inspection, workshop performance testing of equipment and packages.
  • Sound knowledge of design Codes such as: ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ISO 5199, API 610, API 650, TEMA, ISO 13709, etc...
  • Substantial technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry, including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
  • Familiar with the various project phases and the scope/deliverables required for each phase. 

Education, Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Job specific knowledge: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: A recognized and relevant mechanical engineering degree.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing).
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
  • People skills: Strong team player.

Other Essentials:

  • Workshare experience.
  • Keen safety awareness.
  • Able to perform job walks wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in an operating facility.
