Senior Mechanical Engineer

Technical and Industry Experience:

• Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its Customers'.
• Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields such as piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil.
• Extensive knowledge base in heat transfer equipment, pressure vessels, columns, and familiar with rotating equipment and machinery package units (experience in solids and/or material handling is a plus).
• Knowledge of European Directives such as PED, among others.

• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and mechanical engineering specific software.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, fine chemicals.
• Experience in quality control requirements, equipment inspection, workshop performance testing of equipment and packages.
• Substantial technical land practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Familiar with the various project phases and the scope/deliverables required for each phase. 

Education, Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

• Job specific knowledge: Relevant experience.
• Education: A recognized and relevant mechanical engineering degree.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing).
• Language skills: Fluent in Dutch ((native language) and English. 
• People skills: Strong team player.

Other Essentials:                                                                         

• Workshare experience.
• Keen safety awareness.
• May require travel to other Worley offices, Customer’s jobsites and/or manufacturing locations.
• Able to perform job walks wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in an operating facility.
