🎯Purpose 

Provide strategic direction, organization, and overall management for pursuit and development of opportunities in Middle Game; and for leading their Inside Sales team for the preparation of proposals and prequalification documents in response to customers´ RFP, RFI, EOI, etc.
ISSM is one of the positions that can perform as the Resources (Mining, Minerals, Metals and Water)

Functions:

- Responsible for leading or organizing opportunity pursuit activities, producing, or gathering input from appropriate contributors, developing responsive proposal document(s), and delivering proposals to customers.
- Works closely with business development managers to identify and articulate overall proposal strategy and thematic approach.
- Assembles proposal team; manages proposal preparation and production; prepares for and supervises Q&A and final proposal revision activities.
- Works closely with joint venture partners, contract managers, and subcontractors to develop proposal material. Responsible for understanding customer requirements, assessing specific proposal/prequalification deliverables, technical and commercial proposal development, timely and proper reviews and signoffs, final proposal production, and ensuring that follow-up activities are properly defined and agreed upon.

🔍Requirements: 

Key Skills  & Competencies 

  • University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant  experience.
  • Typically 15+ years relevant experience in sales (inside/outside)
  • Experience in the EPC/EPCM project sales process for mining

  • Experience working from engineering development companies"

  • Operational managers ensuring the alignment of their area with broader organizational initiatives and objectives. Able to influence outcomes within broad policies. Individuals possess an understanding of business strategies, culture and work to achieve results and are able to execute work beyond the scope of individual function. May manage work directly or through others. Similar situations with a time horizon of up to 1 year.
  • Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and  tools.
