Senior Interface Lead

Training and Experience

• BS in Engineering or Equivalent Technical degree with 5-15 years of experience as Project Engineer, Project Engineering Manager (or equivalent)
• EIT and PE Certificate of Registration (preferred)
• Project Management Institute (PMP) Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
• Familiar with Engineering and HSE codes and standards
• Advanced level knowledge of computer applications and other engineering tools

Other Essential Functions

• Acts independently to determine methods and process for assignments
• Can provide intermediate supervision or assigns tasks to a group of skilled team members along with performing individual assignments independently
• Promotes capital cost savings
• Can deliver training presentations at an advanced expert / manager’s level
• Capable of performing in a Project Manager’s role if required
• Responsible for complex tasks, where considerable judgment independent action, and initiative may be required
• Independently resolves a majority of problems and / or develops recommendations
• Focuses majority of energy on objectives that add value
• Anticipates problems and resolves proactively
• Capable of managing Large Cap projects or Small Alliance programs
• Qualified to be a Project Manager
• Has expert job-specific knowledge and skills
• Understands the organization's decision-making processes
• Contributes to the learning of others
• Refers to Mission, Objectives, and Safety philosophy when making decisions
• Actively seeks feedback from customers and takes action to improve processes
• Role model of professional communication, relationship building negotiation and conflict resolution

• Familiar with project contracts
• Fundamental understanding of cost management and corporate accounting reports

Other Requirements

• Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, or comparable publications
• Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
• Current on new scientific engineering methods and possesses a broad technical knowledge of the detailed design engineering process
• Willing to share knowledge and experiences
• Can act as a mentor
