What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

  • Experience with PLCs and DCS Preferably Emerson DeltaV, Foxboro EcoStruxure or ABBxA DCS and Modicon, GE or Rockwell PLC.
  • Experience with the AVEVA E3D and Navisworks, participate in 3D model reviews.
  • Experience with Fire Detection and Alarm system design is preferred.
  • Experience with Access Control Systems is a plus.
  • Experience with CCTV and HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Experience with SPI to produce Instrument Index, Datasheets, wiring and loop is preferred and not a must.
  • Drafting knowledge in an AutoCad and Microstation environment.
  • Ability to interpret Petrochemical and M&M industry standard Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Good understanding of Canadian Electrical Code.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • University graduate in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering or Applied Science.
  • Senior level experience of direct Electrical design and engineering.
  • Experience working on engineering for Mining, Minerals & Metals projects is required.

Preferred: 

  • P. Eng designation preferred or to be able to register.

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $97,243 to $173,901 CAD per year.

Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
