Summary:
Deliver discipline specific engineering services in line with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The Senior I&C Engineer will provide technical design services for varied Customers on a variety of different sized projects and scope of services at all project phases.


Purpose:
You will provide instrumentation & controls engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support
 and supervision within the instrumentation & controls engineering team.


Responsibilities:
- Develop and/or oversee the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.
- Participate in the procurement cycle including Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluation and Supplier Data Review.
- Participate in (and may lead) peer reviews and design reviews including HAZOP and LOPA studies.
- Specify and design:
- Instrumentation & Valves - Selection, Sizing and Specification, Hook-ups, Junction Box Wiring, Marshaling Drawings.
 Special Instrumentation – Gas Chromatographs, Analysers (O2, Water-cut).
- Engineered Solutions - High Integrity Protection Systems, Metering Stations.
- Control & Safety Systems - Philosophy, Architecture, Specification, Plant Integration, Cause & Effects, Lists (I/O, Alarm),
 Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
- Fire & Gas Systems - Philosophy, Layout & Coverage, Selection & Specification.
- Functional Safety design a plus - Safety Requirement Specifications and SIL Calculations
- Perform engineering activities throughout the project life-cycle including FEED, detail design, procurement, installation,
 inspection, testing and commissioning.
- Manage the allocated hours, budgets and report progress.
- Undertake I&C engineering design work in with true regard to Safety both in design detail and engineering design
 execution.
- Carry out design work in compliance with the national, state and Customer asset Codes & Standards.
- Clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary.
- Carry out technical focal point duties if required.
- Lead a team of engineers and designers overseeing and preparing discipline deliverables while overseeing discipline
 scope, schedule, budget and quality.
- Liaise with the Customer on technical and engineering matters on a regular basis.
- Promote good communications and co-ordination within the I&C Team and with other disciplines. 

What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in field.
- Instrument specification data sheet preparation
- Instrument sizing and selection
- Safety System Design experience
- Functional Safety
- Instrument loop diagram preparation
- Instrument list preparation
- Instrument location plan development
- Industrial control panel design
- Logic drawing development
- Technical writing ability
- Field as-building experience
- Field start-up support experience
- Work collaboratively and effectively with other designers and engineers in support of projects
- Safety instrumented system design experience
- SIL Verification (Asset)
- Substantial experience in Oil & Gas industry and/or Petroleum Industry (both onshore and offshore)
- Proficient with engineering software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Commitment to customer service
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to maintain confidential information
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline.
Preferred:
- Relevant professional registration is preferred.
