Job Purpose:
To ensure the effective implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and standards at the
project site. The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring and promoting a safe
working environment, ensuring compliance with ADNOC and UAE regulatory requirements,
and fostering a proactive safety culture among all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines on-site.

  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis; prepare reports and
    recommend corrective actions.

  • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to project personnel.

  • Monitor and report on environmental aspects such as waste management,
    emissions, and spill control.

  • Maintain HSE documentation, including permits, inspection records, and safety
    statistics.

  • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of emergency
    equipment.

  • Liaise with Client HSE representatives and subcontractors to ensure alignment with
    project HSE requirements.

  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and engagement with the
    workforce.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).

  • ADNOC HSE Induction and PTW (Permit to Work) certification (preferred).

  • Familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards and UAE regulatory requirements.

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a multicultural and high-risk environment.

  • Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis.

  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
