About You:
To excel in the Senior Fire Safety Engineer role, it is envisaged that you will possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in the field of fire safety engineering, preferable within a large-scale project environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A solid working knowledge of fire safety from first principles and a basic understanding of the requirements of other engineering disciplines
- An excellent working knowledge of fire safety related Australian Standards and NFPA Codes and Standards
- Preferably experience in underground mining fire safety or protection design
- A recognised degree in either process, mechanical or fire safety engineering or equivalent qualification
