Senior Fire Protection and F&G Engineer
Academic Background:
· A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
Languages:
· Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish is required
· Demonstrate experience in fire protection design for process industry and working knowledge of codes and standards such as NFPA, API, EN and Spanish Regulations.
Technical Knowledge:
· Should be able to design and specify:
- Complete active fire protection systems (water supplies, pumping systems, distribution networks, water spray / sprinklers, foam systems, clean agent systems etc.) as per the applicable codes.
- Fire detection and alarm system.
- Smoke management systems.
- Hydraulic calculations (PIPENET), pipe sizing & selection of fire pumps.
- Technical specifications and requisitions.
- Preparing drawings – Tender, design & final drawings.
· Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
· A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
· A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Competent use of process engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
