Purpose:
This Senior Executive Assistant role is much more than calendar management — it is a strategic extension of the Group Executive, Risk’s office and a trusted partner in driving operational excellence and leadership effectiveness across the global Risk Management team. You’ll participate in senior leadership meetings, manage key workflows and projects, and contribute to the Group Executive, Risk’s communications and planning. As a critical member of the team, you will be expected to think ahead, stay composed under pressure, and act with utmost discretion and judgment.
Responsibilities:
Executive Support
- Manage complex and dynamic calendars, including scheduling meetings across time zones, prioritizing requests, and ensuring the Group Executive, Risk is prepared and focused.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, logistics, and briefing materials.
- Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and other administrative processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with all levels of the organization (executives and project staff alike).
Leadership Support & Meeting Execution
- Attend Risk leadership team meetings and select cross-functional meetings to capture detailed minutes, track action items, and ensure follow-up.
- Serve as a point of coordination for Group Executive-led initiatives, planning cycles, and communications.
- Prepare and polish executive-level PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and briefing notes for internal and external meetings, including audit committee sessions and enterprise risk reviews.
Project & Workflow Management
- Assist with special projects, cross-functional reporting, enterprise risk communications, and departmental events or offsites.
- Monitor and manage key workflows (e.g., risk reporting cycles, internal audits, regulatory reviews), ensuring timely delivery.
- Serve as a liaison with other executive assistants and stakeholders across business units and functions.
- Maintain confidential records, reports, presentations, charts, and correspondence in compliance with organizational standards.
Confidentiality & Discretion
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost professionalism.
- Act as a trusted partner and sounding board for the Group Executive, Risk ensuring that priorities are aligned and time is used strategically.
What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Proven experience in planning and managing executive support within a global organization.
- A confident, proactive manner with a forward-thinking, organized, and solutions-focused style.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of competing tasks associated with the needs of a Group Executive.
- Demonstrated success in managing administrative and business processes effectively, with the ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and partnership skills; demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders across regulatory, compliance, legal, and operational functions.
- High personal integrity and discretion when handling highly confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work across time zones due to the global nature of the role.
- Ability to collaborate with and contribute to an Executive Assistant network; lead by example and be a go-to resource.
- Demonstrated experience in an executive assistant, chief of staff support, or administrative business partner role, supporting C-suite executives in Risk, Compliance, Legal, or Finance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience drafting executive correspondence and presentation materials.
- Comfortable in high-stakes environments and calm under pressure.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with Teams, SharePoint, or risk management tools is a plus.
- Self-directed and effective in working both independently and as part of a globally dispersed team.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Secondary school education or equivalent and relevant experience.
