Senior Estimator
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as an estimator in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of industrial construction within field and mod yard locations
- Experience within an electrical and instrumentation (E&I) estimating role with some civil, structural, or mechanical experience within the industrial construction industry.
- Alberta Industry Trades Certification or
- Engineering or technical background in Electrical & Instrumentation (diploma or degree, CET, RET, P.Eng) is preferred
- Understand the detail required for the review of a bid package.
- Possess proven construction methodologies.
- Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office, NAVIS Works, Adobe Reader
- Experience working with FTP sites is preferred
- Familiar with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) standard rates of placements.
Work Conditions:
Edmonton or Calgary office based. Cord employees are working a Hybrid Work Schedule (Home & Office Location). Hours of work are 40 hours/week, (Mon-Thurs 8.75 hours/day), (Fri 5 hour day). 100% Office Activities. Sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for extended periods. Head office location is 2455 – 130 Avenue NE, Edmonton, AB T6S 0A4; Calgary office location is 205 Quarry Park Blvd, Calgary, AB T2C 3E7
