Job Specific Knowledge:
- Experienced study manager with 8 - 10 yrs experience. A strong knowledge of Saudi national environmental regulations, international EIA regulations and good practice, experience of managing numerous technical groups, the ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously and good communication skills are key requirements for this role.
- Experienced on proposal preparation and budgeting. Experience on reviewing Contract’s Terms and Conditions.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
Industry Specific Experience:
- Experience within the EIA arena for more than 5-8 years. Experience for both onshore and offshore projects.
- Experience in NCEC and Royal Commission environmental regulations
- Experience in international Impact Assessment working for a range of clients. Studies will primarily involve the management of ESHIA studies for the oil and gas, chemical, and power industries.
- Subcontractor procurement and coordination.
- Prepares technical reports, in whole or in part, depending on the size and complexity of the document and key subject matter areas.
- Technical competency in a combination of areas within the environmental field i.e. waste management and treatment, hydrology, geohydrology, ecology, geology etc.
- Developing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs).
- BSC or Engineering Degree required. Master of Science desirable.
