This role provides electrical engineering services to Worley, and its Customers, and may provide technical support and supervision within the electrical team. What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Gladstone team.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Deliver discipline-specific engineering services that meet Worley, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure clarity of project scope and compliance with change management processes for any scope changes.
  • Perform and manage engineering design and technical verification of project deliverables.
  • Prepare, review, and oversee production of engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with Worley procedures.
  • Attend site visits and participate in project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops as required.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and Worley personnel to support business growth and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of Worley design systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including progress updates on design, budget, and resource planning.

What you’ll have

  • A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
  • A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • A good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Competent use of electrical engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Engineering experience in Mining, Minerals or Metals including some job site or factory experience in Australia.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status / RPEQ Registration / RPEV Registration or are eligible to attain this registration within 6 months of your commencement.
  • Based in Gladstone.
