Key Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrated knowledge of commercial practices, legal principles, and negotiation skills.

2. Experience in review, analysis, defense, resolution of Contractors claims. Familiarization with Arbitration procedures and administration.

3. Review of the Project records management system.

4. Checking and evaluation EPC Contract Changes; Project 
Variance Notices, Requests for Change, Change Orders, Amendments, etc.

5. Ensure comprehensive implementation of the EPC Contract Close-out procedures; Final Account, EPC Contract Closure Certificates, etc.

6. Ensuring EPC Contractor complies with warranty requirements.

7. Ensuring the EPC Contract is properly managed and administered.

8. Administering the EPC Contract so as to ensure the terms and conditions stated therein are fulfilled.

9. Managing Change by controlling the EPC Contract: scope, cost, schedule and quality of the Project through scope changes and Contract change documents e.g. Change Orders, Variations, Amendments, etc.

10. Managing Project risks minimizing Owner’s exposure to financial and legal liabilities.

11. Reviewing EPC Contractor reports for areas of concern and potential claims, delays, etc.

12. Attends weekly EPC Contract Administration meeting.

13. Prepares and issues to the Owner, the EPC Contract Administration Monthly Report.

14. Reviewing and checking the adequacy of the Project records management system and ensuring the Owner’s and PMC team, together with the EPC Contractor use it to furnish a written record of the chronology of the Project execution.


Qualification/ Experience preferred:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry. 
2. Middle East PMC experience is preferred.
