Senior Construction Engineer / Area Supernintendent
Experience/ Qualification:
· Works closely with Construction Manager and Area Superintendent.
· Liaise with PMC project management and company management on all aspects of the PMC role in the project.
· Liaise with all Construction Manager and Area Superintendent for the efficient execution of the project technical issues, interfaces, and coordination of resources.
· Contact with Borouge Plant team, for necessary coordination.
· Operations and PA.
· Other assigned PMT/PMC personnel.
· Degree in engineering or equivalent preferably in Mechanical Engineering discipline. Decent experience in construction field preferably in capital projects environment with relevant experience in oil/gas/petrochemicals industry. UAE/ME experience is a must including construction exposure in Greenfield /brown field oil gas / Petrochemicals projects.
· In general candidates must have B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering/Construction from an accredited university with relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry including projects engineering and implementation. Also, the candidates should have considerable oil & gas EPC or PMC exposure in their working specialization.
· The candidates should have effective communication skills in both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. Also, excellent writing skills in project engineering and management areas would be preferable.
· Candidates shall possess a broad understanding of all major design engineering disciplines in addition to their own specialization, i.e., Building Construction, Civil/Structural, engineering. They should also have effective analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
· They should possess effective leadership skills and fair understanding of Project Management, Tendering, Bid Evaluation process, Procurements and EPC Contract.
